T3 IN PRODUCTION!!
Terminator 3 has now been in the full swing of shooting (without Josh, but Nick Stahl as John Connor) for a month now! Of course there is much to report and I am in the process of putting together a T3 area, so "stick around" for updates soon. In the meantime, check out the official T3 site which has just gone live and looks to promise many cool things.

Also check out pumpingironvideo.com, a new Gillinator partner where you can order your own new or used copy of Arnold's hard-to-find classic. It's a must for any Oak fan!

"Have you seen this boy?"

"I ORDER you to come to class with me!!"
Meet the new John Connor
Odds are you haven't, but my good friend Josh Kushins, who portrayed a college-bound John Connor in my short films The Gillinator and G2: Misjudgment Day is now auditioning for the same role in the T3: Rise of the Machines! Since Eddie Furlong is not reprising the role due to his drug problem, C2 Productions is holding open auditions for the new John Connor, who would now be in his early twenties. Josh is very excited about this chance to be the REAL John Connor, and I believe he has an excellent shot at landing the role. He shares my belief that T2 is one of the most perfect movies ever made and has been watching it continuously to prepare for his audition. Remember, Eddie Furlong was just a kid hanging out at the mall when a casting agent asked him to audition for T2, so there's no reason why another unknown like Josh couldn't get the role this time. I'm working on a section about my Gillinator movies so you can see Josh as John Connor for yourself, as well as my wife Brittany as Sarah Connor and Ted Frank as the dreaded TED-1000! Be prepared.
Good luck Josh!

The FREEZE Before Christmas 2001

Christmas FREEZE!
As an annual tradition started in college, I have composed a poem entitled "Da FREEZE Before Christmas", which tells of a magical visit from Christmas FREEZE with me and my friends. This year, since we are now scattered across the country, I have recorded a new version and put it here for downloading in Real Audio. So sit back and enjoy, although some references in it only apply to my friends and I, it has universal meaning to Arnold fans as well!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Arnold, Maria, and the whole family! Have fun skiing in Sun Valley, Idaho!

12.11.01 The Latest on T3!

The Terminator will be back July 2003!

Things are really coming together for the new Terminator film, entitled T3: Rise of the Machines. Here's a run down on the deals that have been made:
-Warner Bros. won the bidding for domestic distribution, including theatrical , TV, and DVD release. Price: $50 million
-Arnold is signed on as (duh!) The Terminator. Price: $30 million
-Jonathon Mostow is directing. Price: $5 million
-Production will begin in April for a July 2003 release. Greenlit budget: $180 million
-Hearing Arnold say "I'll be back!" again: PRICELESS!!

These figures are breaking all sorts of records, including Arnold being the highest paid actor once again, and the highest starting budget for any film (Pearl Harbor was $130 million).

In addition, there is an unconfirmed rumor floating around that Ed Norton might be on board to play an older John Connor. Whether this would be in addition to Eddie Furlong or as a replacement is unknown.

Also over the weekend, it was reported that Arnold was in an accident on his Harley and sustained minor fractures on a few of his ribs. He was taken to St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, and is said to be in good spirits. In a statement, he said, "Don't worry, this won't affect my skiing with my family at Sun Valley (Idaho) this Christmas.'' Just like the Terminator, he'll be back in action in no time! The Gillinator sends his wishes for a speedy recovery.

11.21.01 Collateral Damage set for Feb. 8th

The new CD poster!

Originally scheduled for theatrical release on October 5, Arnold's new movie was delayed because of the 9-11 terrorist attacks since the plot of the film involves a terrorist bombing. Arnold said the fans would decide when the right time would be, and a recent test screening showed very positive feedback, so the new date has been set for February 8! Collateral will go up against Rollerball and Below. Arnold commented, "Entertainment has always played an important part in raising the morale of our nation during difficult times...Even during World War II, the movies brought the American people together, not only providing a necessary diversion, but also offering hope and heroes. I believe that in February, audiences will be ready to go to theaters to see movies like Collateral Damage, where good triumphs over evil."
